Winter is coming - get out those food dehydrators

Now that we officially entered the fall season we all know that winter will be here before we know it. For those who love fruits and vegetables (and who doesn’t - they’re good for you) winter is not the best time. Yes, they can still be found in our grocery stores that are well stocked but just check out those prices … they go through the roof during winter time. It’s most likely related to the fact that local farmers and growers can’t grow them anymore and now our fruits and vegetables must be brought over from greater distances.

At any rate … don’t despair. If you have a food dehydrator (and you do have one, right?) then this is the best time to dry fruits and vegetables and get ready for the winter season.
